Trump and Vice President JD Vance away from the venue while law enforcement secured the area.
According to early reports fromauthorities and witnesses, the incident occurred near a security checkpoint outside the main ballroom where the high-profile dinner was taking place. The event traditionally brings together journalists, political leaders, government officials, and public figures for one of Washington’s most prominent media gatherings.
