Rajesh Khanna’s Soul Brother, Bhupesh Raseen To Star as Villain in “Tiger of Rajasthan”

By Edited By Adam Rizvi, The India Observer: has bagged a plump role in a Hindi film titled ‘Tigers of Rajasthan’ and he is playing the villain in the film.

Bhupesh Raseen was used to be by the side of Rajesh Khanna always. Their relationship grew over two decades into a bond that went beyond blood ties. Bhupesh had never asked for any favours from his superstar brother. Rajesh Khanna was the real mentor, guide & well-wisher of Bhupesh. According to Bhupesh “With the blessing of Kakaji only, I have bagged this role and my film career is started.”

‘Tigers of Rajasthan’ is not Bhupesh’s first tryst in front of the camera. He reveals that, “I have done a film ‘Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai’ and ‘The Rise of Sudarshan Chakra’, but I have a cameo in it. I have also done T-Series music videos, playback by Udit Narayan & Suresh Wadkar and the same have been already released. In ‘Tigers of Rajasthan’ you will see me in a full-length role.”

Bhupesh was always interested in acting. Now he played a full fledged role in ‘Tiger of Rajasthan’. He’ll be a main antagonist and he is super excited to portray this negative character.

While talking to The India Observer, Bhupesh Raseen said, “This film had a long outdoor shooting schedule and mainly shot in & around Jaipur and few other locations. The film is inspired by a real story. The story is mainly based on a relentless struggle for justice after due to circumstances a simple man with educative background who’s basic aim was to become a teacher is constrained to lead a life of a gangster due to challenges & injustice confronted in his life. The story is dramatic, emotional and with strong family bond and political desire to use people. This film has romantic melodious songs too and one of the song had been choreographed by Saroj Khan ji (indeed last song of Saroj Khan ji, shot in Mumbai before her death).”

While Bhupesh Raseen will be seen in a main negative role, Arvind is playing the male lead and popular TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, big screen’s famous villain Ranjeet, Upasana Singh and Deepshikha Nagpal are also playing significant roles in ‘Tiger of Rajasthan’.

While talking to The India Observer, Bhupesh Raseen said, “Tiger of Rajasthan is inspired from real incidents and the dramatic conflicts and emotional turmoil will relate to the audiences. I am glad that I am getting to play something which will showcase my caliber and I hope the audience will like the film. The film is complete and now under censor with censor board. I feel that my dear soul brother, Superstar Rajesh Khanna is blessing me from the heavens. I truly miss him.”

Bhupesh Raseen has been approached by few south film makers, says a source. When The India Observer, asked him, then he confirmed the same and according to Bhupesh “discussion are on and at narrations stage”.
