New Delhi Oct 30, 2018: Tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik have a baby boy, the excited father confirmed on Twitter this morning. .

“Excited to announce: It’s a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled. #BabyMirzaMalik,” Shoaib Malik wrote.

Expressing her joy at the birth of the baby, Farah Khan said in her Instagram post: “It’s a Boy-#babymirzamalik is here. With a proclamation “I am a Khala” (Aunt) farah Khan Kunder who is a close friend of Sania tweeted her joy saying, “My dearest n best friend becomes a mum @mirzasaniar. I couldn’t be happier. Lov uuu and arriving soon to meet the prince.”

On April 12, 2000 the couple got married in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim wedding followed by Pakistani customs. This is the couple’s first baby after eight years of marriage.
